I really enjoyed both these books (Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights) and I'll be reading another Bronte book in one of my classes this year. They really were excellent writers and their characters, especially Jane, really speak to me on so many levels.

I hope you read Wide Sargasso Sea so I can read your review of it in the future!

Oooh, I do plan on reading wide Sargasso Sea before the end of the year. I also hope to read Anne Brontë's Agnes Grey by then too. :) I've become quite enchanted with these sisters.

That's great! I'm going to be reading Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte for one of my English courses in the fall. I'm really looking forward to it. :) We can compare notes or something on the different Bronte books we end up reading.

For some reason, I really haven't heard that much about Anne compared to Emily and Charlotte, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what her writing is like in comparison to her sisters'.

I haven't. I'll probably end up seeing the A&E version with Samantha Morton and Ciaran Hinds first as that's the only version (that I care to see) available where I rent all my DVDs from.
