It was one of the cloudy nights, with the wind blowing continuously.
“Sho-chan, do you think it's gonna rain soon?” The taller guy between the two asked while looking outside through the window of their apartment, with both palms on his cheeks.
“Maybe.” The older man was busy with newspapers while glancing to the other man from time to time. “What is it, Masaki-kun?” At last, newspapers have been folded and left on the coffee table nearby. Sho decided to give his full attention to the one who keep staring at the orangish sky.
“Nothing.” While smiling, Masaki walked to Sho and got his lover’s hand in his grasp. “Let’s have something for supper before we go to bed, Sho-chan.”
The lovebirds walked hand in hand to the kitchen. One with his worry looks while the other one looked at him with caring eyes.
I know what's in your mind and I know your worries, baby. I really do. Don't be afraid. I'll be with you, when it comes, and no matter what may come.
After they got their tummy filled, together they walked to bed and lay side by side. While outside, it started to drizzle. Soon after that, rain was getting heavier and heavier.
“Oyasumi, Sho-chan.” Aiba covered himself well and tried to not think much.
“Oyasumi.” Sho gave him a kiss on the forehead. It was when, the thunderstorm make its appearance. The younger guy shivered and closed his eyes tightly.
“Don't worry, Masaki, I am here. Nothing bad will happen.” Sho smiled and get up to close the curtain. He then back to bed, wrapped his arms around his lover and brought him closer. Aiba loved the feeling of being safe when he was embraced to his lover's bosom. His head rested comfortably on Sho's chest.
“Love you.” Aiba whispered before he fell into slumber.
“Love you too, Masaki.” Sho caressed the other's hair and joined him in their dreams not long after that.
