I bought a copy of one of the NES's two infamous "robot games" today--the far better known one, Gyromite. I have the NES robot, R.O.B., and it even works, but unfortunately I don't have whatever allows you to connect him to the console. Looking forward to getting Mappy for DS when that Namco collection comes out in the next few months.

I played the shit out of Kid Niki when I was a kid--I used to know where all the hidden bonus stages were, but I can't remember any of them now.

And...Pooyan is on the DS? I had that on the 2600 and loved it, but haven't played it since the 2600 was still current. I'd love to see if I still enjoy it.

It's part of Konami Classics Series: Arcade Hits. I think it's actually being emulated, as opposed to being a port. There are a number of great games on here, though it's missing Gyruss, unfortunately.
