[pulling out the tissue} Why? Why? Didn't Akihito go into the office... damn it. {sniff sniff} I love the WHOLE EMOTIONAL DEPTH of this chapter.

I don't blame Ren for saying what he did because he has to keep up the act even if it is in front of Akihito. That's what he gets paid to do. And he did give Akihito food for thought too... Aki needs to decide if he really can get past Asmai being a yakuza and accept him with/without all his flaws. In order for any relationship to last each partner needs to unconditionally accept the other and hopefully Akihito comes to realize that he can love the whole package that is Asami.
