As has long been suspected by the fandom, Transformers scriptwriter Ehren Kruger has basically admitted that the franchise doesn't care about little things like continuity, logic, or, oh, making sense.

Film Crit Hulk did a review. I was trying to psyche myself up to see Grimlock, but oh dear heavens, not after that review. Hell no.

Yep, no sense was made in that movie, but since I haven't been able to make heads or tails of the plot since Return of the Fallen I was able to just kind of roll with it, I think. Enjoyed the ride, despite the multitude of eye-rolly things. With nearly three hours of sheer STUFF, I actually did leave feeling like I'd got my seven bucks and fifty cents worth! (and that was the matinee! With a movie card discount! Good golly when did theaters get so expensive? O_o )

From what I've read in reviews, this movie manages to make fire-breathing Dinobots boring. I'm not sure how that's even possible - may have to watch this eventually just to find out!
