Your mom's bf has a boat? sounds sorta fun. What do you mean by drawing anime? Do you mean like, the anime fanarts you can look at on Deviantart?

well this person http://arriku.deviantart.com/ has lots of beautiful anime fanarts. If you mean fanarts like that, it says in her info that she uses photoshop elemts and a wacom tablet. Not sure what elements or wacom tablet is, but I see alot of ppl that make those kind of arts say that they use those. I think you can also use Adobe Photoshop make those kinds of fanarts, too. You can make lineart in photoshop and then color it in, and I think it should look just like those fanarts. I want to try it myself when I have the time. Just look up a tut on lineart in photoshop if you have it. Well, I hope that helps some ^^
