The undignified squeeing noise was me - first when I saw something new from you, and then again when I read it. *g* Fabulous, thank you!

Oh, oh, I'm so happy that you got to read it!! :-D Did you watch "Dark Shadows" in the past or is the general gothic atmosphere working on its own? I've been wanting to write something gothic for a while, but especially after I visited Strawberry Hill (and then the special just added to that).

I haven't seen 'Dark Shadows', no, your gothic-ness is working its magic all on its own!

I'm totally drawn in by the even darker-feeling Sherlock world, and there's always an air of beautiful unseen mystery in everything you write. Put the two together, and I'm bouncing gently and happily in my seat. Thank you again... hopefully life will give you time to write more, and me time to read more! Honestly, RL is fun, but takes up an awful lot of the day *g*

Ah, this is even more exciting.

It was a crazy series on in the afternoons in the late '60s, every weekday for a half-hour and in its 4.5 year run centered around a particular family in a tiny town in Maine and their huge mansion on the top of the cliff and a family tree replete with vampires and witches, time travel, werewolves, actually anything you could think of, pretty much. And they played it straight. I found it a lot more entertaining than any of the other offerings at the same time of day or even in the evening. I did always want to tweak a few things, but I didn't know about fanfiction back then. ;-)

May RL be gentle to us both! :-)
