Oh wonderful! You've added more to the story of my favourite fictional plant *g* It's gorgeous - I'm so glad you decided to write a bit more, and a nice big bit at that. A lovely, gentle read, thank you so much.

I am so pleased you enjoyed it! It had been bothering me that I left the plant down in the labs with the recycled air and artificial light! And there were a couple other loose ends that seemed to need to be incorporated somehow and it kept growing! I'm relieved it seems to hang together all right. ♥

What a fascinating (ostrich) egg! The first part read like an episode, the second part, well, Japanese culture just suits Illya so well. And Ilove the plant! I just have to know what happens when it grows higher! You know what that means, don't you? ;-)

I have lots of plants on my balcony. Are they really watching me?!

The first part read like an episode...

Oh, this made me so happy!!!

They may well be keeping an eye on us, our plants. (More fertilser all round! Keeps them in a better mood.)

At the latest, I hope I can have another floral update by next Easter Egg time!

Oooh, what a fascinating story! It might be more mysterious to me because I don't know some of the characters & adventures you reference, but it's still quite understandable. I'm very intrigued by the oleander-that's-not-quite & its adventurous offspring, & look forward to discovering what happens when it gets big enough to peek over the windowsill. ;-)

Oh, & thank you very much for linking to these previous parts from AO3--it's especially helpful for folks like me who are new to online MfU fandom. (Tho' not new to fandoms, as my icon suggests. Sorry, couldn't resist using it here. >;-)

Thank you so much! Over the years, I've become rather attached to the little plant. :-)

If you haven't already found it, a great place to find MfU stories is crack-van. It's not being updated anymore, but there's a decades worth of recommendations there to browse!
