I really loved the Experiments series and this looks like just as much fun. Your stuff is always worth a second read to see what's underneath.

Wow, thank you! I think I'll be adding another section or two to Experiments, but I'm never certain until I post them.

<3 I just KNOW that John is the right candidate, but I still love the journey :3

I love AU&Sherlock. I don't know why, but it pushes my buttons. And you have been brilliant once more.

I always seem to be wandering off in AU directions, although this one is a fairly minor departure (at least compared to my past adventures). And I had to write lots of stuff to help with the finale trauma!!

I am tickled that you feel it works! :D

There is that nagging question as to why Sherlock decides he needs a flatmate. He doesn't really seem to care about financial matters.

I rewatched the first episode recently, too. It is a very beautiful episode, practically every scene is a favourite. Have you seen the unaired pilot? It's mostly the same story but without Mycroft and with some different developments of the case. It's fascinating to compare the two.

No, I didn't see the pilot. It was very interesting to rewatch the first episode, the setting up of things...

I love the way you're taking the plot and turning it slightly, lining things up in a different way and with so many unseen layers... I'm really enjoying it - thank you. ♥

Fascinating where you're taking this! You leave clues here and there, yet there's still a pleasing ambiguity. Is John's leg better simply because he has found a new, exhilarating way to be useful, or is this a product of the "fusion", or both? That's one of the intriguing little mysteries you're presenting here. (I'm not asking for spoilers here, because the series is ongoing and because uncertainty is not a bad thing)

Mike seems very much IC. We see so little of him in the series, yet this feels like a logical development of his character. Plus, he asks so many interesting questions.

Really enjoying this!

What a delight to find your comment this morning! I am particularly relieved with your reaction to the ambiguity. I am inclined in that direction and can carry it too far. Reassurance that balance is being maintained is most appreciated.

I was surprised that Mike wasn't at the Christmas party or anywhere else that we've been shown; he played such a pivotal part and he clearly knows them both rather well, although John from student days and Sherlock more recently. Of course, that makes him easy to develop as needed for my own purposes. ;-) I am very pleased that he seems IC, that's always an especial challenge when going off in AU directions!

Thank you so much for following the series!
