Plot:
Human are the best living thing on earth that was made. And because of that, the word “Rival” was made. People tend to be the best in everything they do, just like Yamada Ryosuke and Sato Daian. They are in the same class; same sports club and they have high scores in exam. These two are not the best of friends, but one thing changes their lives. What would that be?
Chapter 1
Rival vs. Love, the starting point…
It was one bright afternoon. Everyone was running ‘til the end of the run. Everybody was giving their best. It’s a good thing that everyone was excited for this Sports Festival, but of course, there are people who can catch other’s attention. Just like the girl and boy who are running fast enough to surpass the others.
“Ne, ne, look at Daian-chan and Ryosuke-kun! They really are up to the challenge.” A girl whispered.
“They always are.” Another girl whispered back.
The run has ended and everyone’s trying to catch for their breath, as they got to the finish line.
“That was a nice one Daian-chan!” Miku shouted to her friend.
Daian, Sato Daian smiled to her friend and made a fighting pose.
She was indeed an athletic girl, but still has this cute side of her.
Other girls were flailing on the boy that was beside Daian.
“Ryosuke-kun! You are so amazing out there.” A girl who was flagging out a bond paper with a ‘Go Ryosuke!’ sign on it.
Boys were looking at Daian and were smiling and were cheering for her.
They were indeed the popular athlete in school. Not only in sports have they excelled but also in their classroom. Daian looked at Ryosuke and raised her eyebrow.
Ryosuke took his glance from the lady.
“Mata omae ka? (You again?) Why do you always need to be with the same place as me? Are you really trying to piss me off? Huh? Yamada?” Daian puts her both hands on her both sides.
“Excuse me?” Yamada Ryosuke looked at her with a curious face.
“You are excused.” Daian pulls a joke.
“Stop using your bad attitude on me. Won’t work, I don’t like girls like you.” Yamada proclaimed.
Daian gasp at what she heard, and another thing she did was gave out a hard laugh.
“You mean, you think I am trying to get you notice me?” She pointed to her self as Yamada nodded and asked, “Isn’t that it?”
Another laughed was heard from the girl, and this time it was louder than the first one.
“You’re too naïve, but you are a good comedian huh?” She pats the boy’s shoulder as she walk towards it, “I would never fall for someone I look up to as my rival.” She smiled.
Yamada was shocked at what Daian responded to his air headed thinking. He might thought that he should have been liked by every girl, but why not Daian? He was obviously ashamed of what he just said and looked away.
“Really? We’ll see about that.” At last, a statement came out from the boy after a moment of thinking.
“From now on, this will be my new challenge. I’ll be your number one.” Yamada smirked.
Yamada smiled as he walked away and Daian was left there laughing.
