you know, I just thought about another reason to hate your fic :P something. Regarding the Brian "the perpetual topping bottom" Kinney. See, the thing that was the most painful to me in s5 was that Brian was so disempowered. And for Brian being disempowered is like for most people would be losing their limbs. And that disempowering wasn't a price he had to pay for making more healthy his relations with people valuable to him, but it came with basicaly no reward. Maybe some consolation prize. And okay, so it was good for Justin to finally grow a spine, but the way he accomplished it was to build up a sense of superiority over Brian, a certainty that he didn't need him anymore. They weren't equals, they were just constantly changing combination of submission and dominance, where eventually only Justin was the superior. Brian was a shadow of himself in s5, walking on eggshells and counting down the minutes till Justin leaves him because he no longer looks up to him. And I feel like you're continuing that dynamic, only in a more schmoopy ( ... )

p.s. or where Brian has some life outside of Justin (no pun intended). Besides the tricking he's growing bored with. Why can Brian only dive into his work when he's pining? :(

I am contemplating being an "offerer" (such an awkward word, lol) myself. But I can never decide if pressure helps or hinders me. And I don't know if I should offer just B/J and G/R or if I should claim I can do Harry Potter (I'm way out of practice) as well to spice things up, lol.

Do you see what people want you to write when they bid or do you find out after one wins?

God, I know. Offerer sounds sooo not alright.

Ah yes, the pressure thing. I know what you mean. But you know, you'll have a month to write your thing, right? So, I figure it'll be enough time to tell yourself I'm not pressured at all, I'm on my own time. and then enough time still to have the pressure kick you in the ass and force you to churn out a fic. :D

Until the bidding is up, people only respond with a money amount, no fic specifications are made so far. After bidding is over (in two days!), I assume that the author and the highest bidder have to negotiate via PM or something.
