Oh God. I just skimmed parts of my old fic, The 56th Most Common Name, for something and -- apart from finding several typos and well, you know, other stuff that makes you wrinkle your nose in hindsight -- I was totally baffled to find that I obviously also wrote this:

Heee, but I do have to! It's funny! You know, in that slightly embarrassing way. :D I mean, mine might not be as bad as some of the other fic we've come across, but if I went through all my writings now, I know I'd find lots of little bad!fic gems. <3

Hee, yes, good policy there! I usually leave old stuff be as well, much for the same reasons. The few times I do go and check/reread something, face-palming is preprogrammed. :D

I've read that fic more than once, but I never noticed that, lol. I have my problems with the misunderstandings at the end, but that hasn't stopped me from loving the story as a whole.

I never would have thought twice about that.

The word sex can not be used synonymously to intercourse, penetration or coitus.

*sigh* I know. But I actually get kind of pissy when people write about blow jobs or hand jobs and then say the people "had sex." Part of me wants to say NO YOU DIDN'T AND WANTS IT TO ONLY MEAN PENETRATIVE BUT THEN I REALIZE THAT IS OFFENSIVE TO LESBIANS AND I FEEL BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
