As if I didn't have enough sh*t to do--both in RL and fanfic matters--I have quite impulsively decided to claim me the Queer as Folk (US) - Pairing: Brian/Justin theme over at fanfic50.

The goal: 50 prompts will eventually result in 50 fics written by yours truly.
The purpose: I guess I want to reach a point where I feel like I can whip up a non-sucky fic

I love working on prompt tables, they get me inspired often. I have finished the fanfic100 and started another one of 100,as well as having two 25 prompt tables going.

...And little me is already fretting over the 50-version.

So, how long did it take you to complete your first table, if you don't mind me asking? I was just thinking about giving myself a time limit like half a year or so, but that would mean I'd have to write ~2 fics each week! (And I have other fic projects running as well.)

Yeah I know, but can't resist even though my muse hasn't been co-operating for a while but slowly coming back.

I think probably about 12 months, I honestly can't remember. At that stage I was writing at least 2 fics a week, sometimes more.

Time limits could be good but personally I never worried. All the comms I use for prompt tables have no deadlines, but setting yourself a personal one would inspire you more I would think.

The one I did is similar to yours I think and also because I was writing a lot as Michael for another comm at that time, I filled it reasonably quickly.

Congrats on finishing your table, it looks amazing all filled out.

I sometimes work well under pressure and with self-imposed deadlines/time limits, but other times it just has the adverse effect. :<

Your timing is quite stunning. Just two days ago I watched that scene (still marathoning S2 with the BFF) and commented on how hot it is. (Even though I'm still not a fan of that black sleeveless button-up. I know I'm on my own with this opinion.)

The way Justin is sprawled on the bed is pure awesomeness and that short episode of moaning-rubbing right before Justin yanks Brian's head back and says "Fuck me!" gives me ladywood. :D
