reminds me of what i did with two friends when the show aired in germany. i took notes to every episode and send this to two frieds who where also crazy about the show. and then they would add their thoughts and we had a big discussion. the cool part was also that everybody had a diffrent favourite character.

…Did anyone count the men Gale actually had to make out with? Season 1 is really trick-heavy so far.
Maybe it was Gale's idea that Brian should only kiss Justin starting in season 2...

All I can say about the clubbing until 2 am on a worknight is: it makes me tired and woozy just to think of it. I remember (vaguely) the days when I could party and get up 4 hours later and go to work, but I certainly didn't *sparkle* and I couldn't have done it every night.
It's not that I don't like Brian's sunglasses, it's that we can't see those hugely expressive eyes when he's wearing them. And Melanie's overreaction? I kept trying to like her, but the writers made it almost impossible.
Michael's "Zorba?" answer to his mother's Know Thyself question is just a classic. I fell off the couch. More than once.
As for Gale's kissing scenes with all the tricks; I like to think that his kisses were turning those straight actors gay, and they had to find a way around it...

To be honest, I don't really see any meta in here. Well, maybe it supposed to reiterate the peace and unity/friendship between the group, but that would be kind of... meh. Patrick was probably just going through a "pastel = fabulous" phase or something.

Exactly. I mean, sometimes in fic Brian survives Mon-Fri on two hours of sleep per night. But even if you're a gay superhero who goes clubbing, does drugs and heavy tricking on a daily basis, your work performance is bound to suffer at some point. And I doubt Brian would let it get so far as to him actually slacking off at work, right?
I don't believe canon provides any clarity on his (and the gang's) clubbing habits, or at least I don't remember. They show them at Babylon enough times to have us considering them going there quite frequently and on the other hand, it could also be just their standard weekend program that they're showing with the Babylon scenes. Huh.

Are we busting some serious fandom assumptions right here (Brian indulging in ze bottoming and actually talking about it?!) or am I taking the wording just a tad too literally?
The latter, I reckon.
To me it sounded more like they were all doing each other -not all topping Brian- and Ted jumped at the opportunity. Unsuccessfully, though. :P
There's about two or three sets of bad!glasses he wears throughout the series, all of which make him look like a psychedelic fly. Do not want.
Word! Especially the weirdo!sunglasses he wore in the "you drink too much coffee/it's latte" scene (ep. 116).
On an overall note, Season 1!Justin, as cute as he is, sometimes does or says things that bug me.
Yep, he had his teen/drama queen!moments that bugged me as well, but -as you said- he is a teenager after all and I heart him nevertheless. <3

I can't say I was really aware of that. Huh. I guess she has those posts set to FO because she provides download links. Then again, I think they're password-protected anyways, so... I guess I could ask her if she would make those posts public if you want?
