Dearest flisters,
would any of you happen to know how old Jack Kinney was when he died?
Any mentions of his age or birthyear? I can definitely imagine Brian mentioning his father's age at some point, but I'd have no idea where to start searching, it could be anywhere

Hm... I can't remember for sure but I assume that he is around 60(+?) years old. But not sure about that :)

Yeah, he looked kinda old and a bit trashed, but that isn't necessarily the indicator for his actual age. What with his drinking habits and all. Huh. Difficult.

Yes I know what you mean, but as you say his drinking habits are really bad so I guess he looks older than he is.
60+ is a good deal I think :)

Claire was older than Brian, I would estimate 35 at the most. If Jack knocked up Joan as soon as they got married like a good Irish Catholic boy (at 18 y/o), I'd put his age at about 48 to 52. That math works, right? I'm so tired!

Let's say Jack married at 18, had Claire when he was 19. If Claire is only 30 (Brian was 29 when Jack died), Jack could have been as young as 49. I was off by a year!

The years of booze and hard living would have aged him physically. Same for Claire, being a single mom of 2 terrors, possibly a drinker herself, would make her look older, too.

Agreed. I'm counting with the booze as accelerating the aging as well. But 49, even if just under the 50 wire, does seem extremely young for him.
But what do I know. *shrugs*

Justin said 60. I remember that because my Dad is 60 and I was like "hey! My Dad is not old enough to have a 34 year old kid!!!" (unrelated) Anyway, yeah, I think Daphne was like "how old was he?" and Justin was like "I dunno, 60?" Yep. Hope that helps?
