It's a real shame...
When you finish building something but it doesn't work because it's so massive you haven't found a strong enough power source to run it.

It's strange but such a familiar feeling. I mean, I've been working on this thing for decades but it's-- chest cavity is hollow and empty with nothing inside. I just have to find something ( Read more... )

Decades? That's a long time.

Haa Maybe I exaggerated a little. I've been writing up blue prints for this guys before I even got into the university.

Well, if yah can't find one source of energy big enough to run it... maybe you should try multiple! Yah know, and each one can be meant to run a certain section of the machine.

The only problem with multiple power sources-- means multiple weaknesses-- and for every charger there's that 10% chance of it shorting out.

Maybe I made him too heavy... he's suppose to stand up a tank blast though...

Ahhh and if I add more then i'll hve to put even more platting on the mobile areas and...

I-- I don't have money for this...

Isn't it funny how technology used to be, like, super-huge computers and calculadors the size of an oven... and now people are trying to make everything smaller and more compact?

Well, it's like you're trying to do the opposite- it's easier to make a smaller robot, but when you try to bring it to such a large scale... it's like one problem after another.

Yep that’s too true, I suppose I’ll have to put this guy away until I get the funds or find a cheap yet strong enough battery to run him.

Oh well guess this means I’ll go back to working on my littler one, he runs on a single tube of liquefied hydrogen. Only problem with him though he likes to hide the stuff on my desk….
