You know how that can happen someone comes into your life and you go along for awhile dating and hanging out and then suddenly BAM!! it hits you this person belongs in my life and that's one of those AH-HAH...moments and that's exactly what Luke was feeling...I remember panicking when it hit me and now 20 odd years later we're still together:-))

I needed to show Luke's aggressive side sexually which was always so downplayed with Noah and sex and even affection (PDA's) always appeared to be on Noah's terms not Luke's and I didn't want Luke to have that again...and we know that Reid is not like Noah...bring on the PDA's and an aggressive take charge Luke...putting that balance into the relationship.

It's so different writing them like this, Reid especially with his responsibility of Holly which brings out that caring side we always know is there, he just likes to hide it. Having Luke on his own without the constant interference of well meaning family and friends also changes the dynamics a bit. But in the end we know that they belong together and this just shows another side to how their relationship begins...and yes continues:-))
