Time taken: 50 minutes with a day's break halfway through the last section because of RL. V_V And the ending is kind of abrupt because I ran out of time...
Summary: Clothes make the monkey. Or maybe not.

I love this! Goku's oneness with nature at the beginning clashes horribly with his later fear of snow and the artificial forgetfulness. The idea of him being in chains after all that freedom is heartrending *wibbles*. Sanzo's breaking of the cuffs at the end is brilliant, with all that exuberance of Goku's and Sanzo's careful concentration - it's a nice look at how much he wants Goku to be free (whether he realizes it or not!). Beautifully written and definitely going straight into my memories! ^___^
