Title: untitled
Author: aonekosama
Warnings: totally worksafe
Characters: Hakkai, Gojyo (Hakkai/Gojyo if you tilt your head, maybe?)
Prompt: #15 'hearing'
Notes: Didn't take time, but these took about five minutes each. Two haiku. Can perhaps be read separately, but might also tell a story. I don't know, though. I'm not very good at poetry. ^^'

Hear they are, anyway. )

I love the second one. I heard somewhere that turning an image on its head, or contrasting two very different ones and finding resonance there, is what haiku is all about, and --- yes.

That's just what I love about haiku, but I always feel I can never quite achieve that in the ones I try. I'm happy the Gojyo haiku worked like that for you. Thanks!

I like them both, but wow, that second one has so much Gojyo in it. Wonderful.

Thank you! It's funny, really. I hate drunken people, yet I love the idea of drunkenly stumbling Gojyo... ^^'

Oh, these are so very them! I can even see them as part of the same storyline, with Hakkai working himself into one of his torments on a rainy night, and Gojyo coming home and doing something silly, and completely destroying the bad mood. That break with the hyphen really does it: Gojyo, in his way, has a lot more emotional intelligence than Hakkai, and even drunk out of his mind, he'd notice and react.

I bet Gojyo is an expert at destroying Hakkai's bad moods. Thanks for a wonderful comment, I'm glad you liked these!
