Hoho. Kenren is certainly there in spirit, in lines like "And if we live until tomorrow, I'll be alive then too", even if he's not "awake" as Tenpou seems to be.
Nicely done - you've used I think an appropriately delicate hand in dealing with the subject of what may have carried over, what the soul remembers and of how much they may even consciously be aware.
