Time: Forty minutes or so? I got interrupted and kind of lost track.Took me about forty minutes, start to finish. I could've spent another hour on the stinking title.

I love all things Koumyou/Kouryou. There are so many great things in this fic: the sutras being uneasey, Koumyou wondering if he would ever see Kouryou, Kouryou never kind but not cruel. You really pegged both of them so well. XD

This is lovely. I like that the parallel was clear from the first line, but you went ahead and said it anyway near the end, because that sort of took the focus away from it and made me pay more attention to what else you were saying. The description of Kouryuu is marvellous, and "like a sunflower in the heat" is absolutely inspired. The last line is perfect. You're just so damn good.

Koumyou is so calmly and inclusively accepting. There's something very moving here about his calm probing at the ideas of his own mortality and his own needs (wanting to hold onto the Seiten sutra, for example).
