This was awesome, a perfect match for the challenge topic. I liked the idea that Nii's first appearance at Houtou might have been as his alter-self. He was so cool and collected under pressure here, and I love that he secured his own future with a single sentence, only to admit to himself later on that it might be a complete bluff.

Love the way you portray Ukoku. He's so perfectly in character, and you've managed to bring out that arrogance just beautifully. Oh, and the masochism that I tend to associate with his dealings with Koumyou, for some reason.
