After carefully reviewing your application... I'm definitely going to have to say Kanzeon Botsatsu. There wasn't a single doubt in my mind. :)

At first I was thinking very Sanzo due to your description of your arrogance and hardheadedness. But the moment you started describing the little things like favorite color and time of the day and reasons why I immediately started, like the others, thinking Kanzeon. You image topped it all off though. That long curly brown hair of yours makes it almost uncanny.

...Tenpou. Honestly, you really like to read and so did he. XD And then again, he also seems a bit lazy sometimes and Kenren's optimistic attitude always rubs off on him - he's just really carefree (as seen when he died in the manga). AND he also seems arrogant - or maybe more bold. He goes out of his way to act self-righteous towards people (like Li Touten... albeit this guy deserved it, and Tenpou is usually always right when he says something).

I'm torn. I want to say Sanzo, though... For all his cynicism, Sanzo's actually pretty optimistic in his own special way. That, and not having much tolerance for weakness, is pretty much Sanzo to me. Kanzeon was a close second.
