I have just found an edited version of the last episode of Yu-gi-oh! and there are some blatant scenes of puzzleshipping. I just have to share it with everyone ! ( look here for those screen caps )
At the beginning I was suspicious, but when I saw the screencaps you posted I was all, "OH MY GOSH, CAN IT REALLY BE TRUE?"
I should have known. xDDDD Now I feel like an idiot. Hahaha.
But hey, I can't be too disappointed! Now I have more Puzzleshipping pictures to ogle at. x3 Thank you! You must have put a lot of effort into this April Fool's joke!
I have to admit, the summary of my joke is a bit...okay, very obvious. I didn't have time to think property when I wrote the entry because by the time I finished the fake caps it was already 23:50 in my time (I know it's still noon or evening in other places but I want it to still be 1st April in my journal as my journal follow my time zone XD). If you look closely you will find lots of flaw, they are very rushed. The background I had to steal from the real show and edit out the character because I didn't have time to draw it from scratch. And seriously, editing background took a lot longer than drawing the character because I had to redraw every parts where the character from real show is edited out.
But yeah, I'm surprised you got tricked. I mean, the summary kind of gave it away. If people don't bother click the link, everything will be useless XD
Well, considering you wrote it so late at night, I don't think it was too obvious! When I'm trying to type that late at night I'm barely coherent. xD
I think the fact that you used the background from the actual anime makes it seem even more real! It sounds like it was a pain to do, though the end result really does look nice. ♥
After what you posted, I HAD to click the link! Haha. Even though I was suspicious, I'm a sucker for canon evidence of puzzleshipping. And after seeing the 'screencaps,' I was completely fooled! I'll have to be more careful for the rest of today, that's for sure.
These are awesome! (And adorable!) You put a lot of effort into these and I think they're very good. =3 Thank you for sharing them! Now I shall go squee about my dreams of Puzzleshipping being canon coming true~ ;)
Before I clicked on the link I thought they were just going to be screen caps I'd seen before. Then I realized immediately they were fanart so... you didn't get me. ;) Love the retconning anyway! :)
I know I can't trick people who have known the last episodes inside out, so at first I thought of making up announcement about a new Yu-gi-oh! series. But yeah, that's even more unbelievable. XD I have tried to make this look like canon, so I didn't draw any too out of character action to confuse people who haven't remember the episode well. If not for that I would have made them kiss on the lips already. XD
