This is really interesting. I clicked it out of curiosity, was really glad I had and then ended up nearly shaking my laptop to try to get the rest. Out of curiosity, why is sweet tea capitalized? And is it set in any particular place in Georgia?

I have been trying to figure out why I capitalized sweet tea since I posted it, I have no clue. Maybe because I don't make my own so I'm used to seeing it capitalized off the bottle I buy.

as for location, I'm not as familiar with Georgia as I'd like (I grew up on the West Coast and my family is from Tennessee and Kentucky), so...somewhere between Atlanta and Macon, where there's enough room to shove a couple large farms and a small sized community of 3,000 people.

Chapter two is in the process of being written, I'm trying to balance the stereotype of 'Southern Hospitality' with the reality that Jonathan and Bruce just don't like each other and Jonathan doesn't care what Bruce thinks of him (ie: It's Susan who offered Bruce a drink, not Jonathan who just wanted him gone).

Bruce probably won't get invited for dinner then yeah? I haven't been to the east side of Atlanta for a while, but I know on the SW side it sprawls all the way over to Newnan. Northern or southern GA might work better for your purposes. I'm totally looking forward to chapter two.

You always invite a guest to dinner if they're there, no matter your taste in them. (at least according to my southern grandmother).

Chapter two (with dinner) has been posted!
