Day 1 - Very first anime
Captain Future was the first series I remember watching that I recognized as anime. I didn't know that's what it was until I began to like Sailor Moon in 1997 and saw it listed in a book of anime series that had come out in the U.S. I loved the show when I was little, possibly around 5 or 6, but episodes of it were hard to find. We didn't have Cable TV, and it was by chance that I came across the few I watched from our public library on VHS. I would repeatedly watch those few episodes.
