In the set of Hong Kong subs I have for Saint Seiya -- which are translated so badly that they produced a ton of unintentionally hilarious moments -- Deathmask's attack becomes "Body Smell." Which led to him saying to Shiryu, "Dragon Star, you will be killed by this Body Smell!" Guess he didn't shower much. ~_^

Ah yes, the notorios HK subs that call Hiroshi 'Ho' and Itsuki 'Leafy'. What's up with them XDD

Oh, there was no end to the hilarity in those. In addition, to "Body Smell," Aldebaran's attack was translated as "Big Bulge." Which led to the narrator saying at the begining of an episode, "Seiya was hurt terribly by Aldebaran's Big Bulge!"

Okay, that takes the entire cake, the guests, the presents and runs away with it! And here I was innocent enough to think 'Ho' was scandalous!

Oh, thanks for posting all that yummy stuff! :D If my memory serves me well, DM explains his technique and its meaning when he is sent by Saga to kill Dohko. But I don't remmeber if it was as detailed as his explanation in Episode G, in any case, thank you for the research! ^_^/ It's always lovely to hear more about a particular technique or character, especially one that isn't very often explored otherwise. :)

燐気 is the uhm, "aura" thing. It doesn't has to be from corpses, as the aura burning around people in anime can also be called that way, but in DM's technique's case, it means indeed the 燐気/aura of the dead bodies, coming through that gateway to the world of the dead. :)

Yea! Epi G needs more love! It really does take a while to get used to her art. Sometimes her proportions are weird. But then the naked bois, the butt scenes and the sparklyness manage to draw you in eventually.

Heh. DM's always been my snuggle-bunny. Tough choice what with all those other cool charas frolicking in there.

It is difficult choosing one from all those cool & oh so pretty charas. Which is why I stated that I think DM's my favorite. I'm not quite sure but I'm very partial towards him. Probably coz he's clinically insane XD
Shaka is awesome. I was mourning his death 4 years ago when I first created my LJ ^^;

And Omg! Malik got me into YGO too! I knew of ppl like Kaiba & Bakura. But it wasn't until I randomly found out about the existence of Malik that I decided to actually give YGO a try. I've only watched the last 12 or so epi's since that was what was playing in Japan at the time. So no Yami Malik *sigh* Iwanaga Tetsuya really showed some of his seiyuu skills with this chara.

I also noticed Kaiba's droning voice could have been none other than Tsuda Kenjirou. Which sealed the fact that there was no way I was ever watching the dub. TsudaKen~~~ *o*
