I v.m. like your specter stories, and utter love for the descriptions in this one, although i'm a bit confused about timing because he's the "adolescent" but at the same time is writing a thesis in architecture and has elderly parents

i don't think it's a problem, i was just a bit puzzled but i'm not trying to say it's wrong.
i was trying to figure out who he was through the descriptions and those details threw me off, that's all.
also, cultural biases:
1) for me it's harder because in my home country kids don't "skip" courses no matter how smart they are, so the chances of anyone being done with undergrad and writing an undergrad honors thesis at 19 are really nil... and if you're meaning PhD thesis... well, then they become minus ten or something ;)
2) we usually refer to the "adolescent" as the age between childhood and young adulthood as well, but growing up i remember thinking you stop being an adolescent at about... 16? and then become a "young adult"
(life goes by faster than it used to, as my mom said) :P
in any case, the story makes perfect sense as is, these are just my rumblings.

It works for the theory, but it's a bit weird. But then again, it's Minos, and Underworld, so weird isn't too far off. ;P *lol*
