(...)this was the place he belonged to, where everything seemed to fit(...)
This first one is, heartbreaking. He'd lost so much and had regained it in such a way...God...
But if to fight for justice he would have to be called a traitor by his comrades, then so would it be.
How contradictory, he's called Aioros a traitor (in the canon, I mean) and Saga (here in your story). It must have been hard, yet I think ackowledging one can do anything for his Goddess made him realise that everything "before that night is not of importance".
Wonderful finale.
Now I really need to start working on Aioros' themes ^^U

Yes you do! I'd love to read more Aioros. :)

I especially liked *quotes*
Even this I’d forgotten how it felt
~~~
He had been born to fight for Athena and he would die for her, as many times as she needed him to.
As many times it took, for victory to be theirs.
And the bit about Saga and Shura getting to an understanding without much in words fits them both very well, given the situation.
Thanks a lot for posting this, I think it's my favorite of the 30 themes
Thank you for reading and commenting through all the 30 themes. :) It wouldn't have been nearly as fun without the company of my fellow Shura-ist.
Ohohoho, 'you-know-what' keeps going on, too. As soon as I finish the next batch of themes, I shall send it your way. :}
Taking a break from a chara after writing 30 themes is good, even though in some cases ideas keep popping up for same chara. O_o And hopefully a bit of Shura will pop up in you-know-what too? Plenty of you-know-what for that, I think. ;)
*awaits next batch as a kid waiting for Christmas day to open the presents*
Oh yes! I'm sure Shura will come. I'm trying to keep it as diverse as I can. Although the last batch has a lot of bronzies, hnn.
All I can say is what has already been said by everyone here: amazing!
I love the depth of your characterisation of Shura and his reactions back to life and sanctuary, and how you treat the uneasiness between Saga and Shura.
Congrats on finishing the themes and I'll also miss your posts for the 30 themes.
Any chance you'll be getting another one?? *hopeful* :)
Actually, I'm already writing for the 100 prompts. Once I have a nice amount of themes I'll begin posting. I thought I'd stay back from writing StS for a while but... I guess the muses still don't feel burnt out enough. XD
