What I liked the most of this chapter is seeing Athena, the Kyoukou and the two Gold Saints standing together in the throne room. Just that scene shows soo much about a side of Sanctuary we hadn't been able to see. (Or... correct me? Had we ever seen something like that before?) Somehow that was enough to ignite all the plot bunnies concerning the way Sanctuary works. Ah, the wonders of LC. *__*

As always, thanks for the summaries! I usually get the gist of it but I had missed some of the delicious details you mentioned. The story feels to be moving quite fast though. Aaah, next wednesday/thursday isn't coming fast enough!

We've seen it a LOOOT in doujinshi, but never "for real", as far as my dried up & senile brain allows me to remember. XD
But it was well set in the people's idea of how Sts canon worked, and it's so wonderful to finally see it for real. :D I particularly love the fact that the Kyoukou spends the whole time standing, next to her throne. It reminds us and emphasizes the fact that he is but her servant, and only sits there as her representative, when she's not around. *gurgles in delight with all the Athena x Saga plot-bunnies breeding all over my brain* XD *giggles*

Same here! For me it was because that made me see the Kyoukou as a councillor,and I adored that idea. Aah, the always interesting mechanics of the Sanctuary organization. :3

I hadn't thought about writing it but hey, now I have something else to write for the 100 prompts! I'll try. :D But you have to go along with your plotbunnies too! *nudges*

I'm guessing the other gold saints are not sent because they have to protect Sanctuary and Athena from a potential surprise attack/assassination plot?
We were talking about that yesterday whith takako_dono. I was a bit afraid by their missing and I wonderd if they were already dead and would have became Hades's saints... But takako_dono told me something like you and I hope it's the truth... I want to see them soon *^*.

You're welcome, and they are indeed so so lovely! :D

I really don't think any of the gold saints have died yet, it seems impossible that something so dramatic/important would have happened without anyone doing even a slight mention anywhere. We've seen the Kyoukou a few times, idem for Dohko, Shion, Athena, etc, at least one of them would have mentioned anything if it was the case.
I think they're still guarding Sanctuary, but I sure hope that when it comes to it, their deaths will be cool and dramatic, in pure Sts style, and not quickly passed over as something fast and unimportant. ^^; That would suck!
But LC has been awesome so far, so I'm hoping that part will kick ass too! :D

After all, this whole idea of sending Shion & Dohko with a select group of silvers & bronzes to kill Hades is what, if not an assassination plan? XD If even Athena ressorts to that, it's only normal that they would be expecting Hades to do the same kind of thing (especially considering we're used to those sorts of attacks from him on Athena. ^^)
