Okay, yes, Han Solo vs. Indiana Jones may be the ultimate question of the all time.

BUT GUYS. YOU ARE FORGETTING OPTION C: RICK DECKARD. HELLO, THE BROODING ANGSTFACE, HOW CAN YOU RESIST IT???

can you tell I just re-re-rewatched Blade Runner?

non-rhetorical questions, movies, nerddom, being decisive

Okay, I love Blade Runner as much as anyone, and even I'm not going to argue that Deckard beats Indy or Han. He's too busy contemplating his place in the universe and trying not to hurt animals and worrying about his robot girlfriend.

Don't get me wrong, the list of things cooler than a robot-hunting film noir PI (who might be a robot himself) is short. Unfortunately for Rick, it consists entirely of SPACE PIRATE and ACADEMIC/ADVENTURER. (Those are actually my top three career choices at the moment.)

it is true that i rank Han Solo above all others ever, and that i may never have an actual functional relationship because of my deep-seated love for him, but I think that Deckard at least needs some consideration. he may not be all up on the snappy comebacks and sweet one-liners the way Han and Indy are, but you have to give props to the painful/badass chase scene at the very end of Blade Runner. HE IS STOIC AND TACITURN, I LIKE THAT IN A MAN, OKAY.

my career choice is not actually a choice. it is a sole option: Evie from The Mummy. SHE IS A LIBRARIAN WHO FIGHTS ZOMBIES WITH BOOK KNOWLEDGE. PLUS HOT, SO FUCKING HOT. XD

Hahaha, that is a totally viable career choice for you. XD BUT STILL, imagine how it would be improved if combined with another option. LIKE IF SHE WERE A SPACE PIRATE LIBRARIAN WHO FIGHTS SPACE ZOMBIES WITH (SPACE?) BOOK KNOWLEDGE. you could pull that off.

okay, i just think every sentence is more exciting if you put SPACE into it as many times as possible.

I'm actually seriously considering academic/adventurer.
