Starting 2011
It's been interesting to see how focus can bring me things. I'd say the core of my mediocrity has resulted from the ADD scatterbrained aspect of my personality while any success at all has been brought about by concentrating all my efforts on a single thing. nice to hear from you, it sounds like life is treating you well. Do you have a new address you can send me? I have a feeling our Christmas card probably never made it to you.

alas there's little chance of a trip West for us as I have just booked flights to Bali for our 10th wedding anniversary (!) and a trip to our friend's villa in Crete. That seems to have used up all of Sarah's holiday leave for 2011.
we would be very interested in seeing you though. We were thinking about having some kind of bizarre re-vowing ceremony on a rooftop bar on the 4th June. Maybe you could help out with that, if we helped out with the fare.
Either way, it would be very lovely to hang out with you at some point this year and maybe even meet your new bloke.
By the way, I was surprised when you made that post from Hawaii about the mini-tsunami. It's a place that we'd both love to see, but I suspect it's unlikely it will happen in the near future.
As for your mum's hats, sadly nothing has arrived. Perhaps UK customs are holding on to them as a potential terrorist attack?
