...what'd you do this time? [not her usual loud yelling. She's still disturbed by the past week and she doesn't miss the exhaustion in his voice]

Prevented the damn Colonel from killing himself. Prevented myself from getting killed by the Lieutenant. Trying to keep Al from screwing everyone ever. And then there was Rachel picking up strays.

Just trying to figure what the heck is up with Al. Seeing him like this... [she trails off. Ed knows. Better than her, probably]

Nevermind. To the workshop then?

It's the Animus. -=he clips quickly.=- They pull this shit from time to time.

Yeah, to the workshop. -=He'll just sling his arm again and hope it doesn't pull out of his socket.=-

[Them again. The word alone is something that's beginning to make her twitch when she hears it]

Are you home? I'll meet you at the door then so we can walk together.

-=And he's down in a minute with his leather on and his right arm in a makeshift sling, the leather sleeve empty for the time being.=-

[Winry pulls on some extra layers and soon makes her way to meet Ed. She gives him a critical once over, but makes no comment on his appearance but the worried and disapproving look says enough on its own]

Yea.

Al's still out by the river. I want to be in shape in case he needs me.

By the river? [she falls in step by his side] What's he doing there?

[She can't help but be a little worried. Sometimes it's good to get time to yourself for just that. Other times it might only make things worse]

[she relaxes and nods, and for the rest of the short walk to the workshop is quiet and just taking in their surroundings. Thankfully it's a little warmer there and that's when she speaks up again]

And how about you? Broken arm aside, have you been okay?

[Winry looks around the shop. When she was told of it she'd come to briefly check it out but she's still not entirely familiar with it. It still feels like she's intruding into someone else's place]
