This is wonderful.

I just learned about "vomero-nasal organs (VMOs) that exist in ones nose, whose primary function is to transport pheromones to the brain. It's been referred to as our "third eye" or "sixth sense" because it allows us to sense beyond what is immediately obvious. It is not "just" crass. Nothing is merely what it seems to be. What you think of this post, though indicative of something true that's happening, is not the whole truth. Some people would find this crass, some would find it funny, some would find it challenging, some would find it boring. We don't find things "how they are," we find things how we relate to them (which, I admit, is part of "how they are")
