I was hanging out with some Christians today, and the conversation was rambling aimlessly over various topics like a drunken redneck on a 4-wheeler lost somewhere on his 10-acre lot. This is wonderful.

I just learned about "vomero-nasal organs (VMOs) that exist in ones nose, whose primary function is to transport pheromones to the brain. It's been referred to as our "third eye" or "sixth sense" because it allows us to sense beyond what is immediately obvious. There's so much being communicated subconsciously through crazy invisible chemicals in the air.

It is not "just" crass. Nothing is merely what it seems to be. What you think of this post, though indicative of something true that's happening, is not the whole truth. Some people would find this crass, some would find it funny, some would find it challenging, some would find it boring. We don't find things "how they are," we find things how we relate to them (which, I admit, is part of "how they are")
