Oh man, every time I listen to something from The Mission, I'm always reminded that I need to listen to their backlog.

The transition from Glamour and Suicide to Deliverance melds really well!

I really like this both as a playlist and for introducing myself to new music!

The Mission (AKA The Mission UK), started as "Fuck you, Andrew Eldritch! We're going home!"
Sadly, they don't have all of the bombast of The Sisters, but I think Unka Andy bought up all the bombast in a lump sum and they had to make do.

I'm glad you like the flow, I can't beatmatch, but tone and sounds I can do :)

Die Laughing was big in the 90s; their well known song is "Firedance," and they have a newish song, "Tangled." I think you would like them. I intend to buy CDs :)

Let me know if you have a chance/ want to listen to TLC2, it's not goth like this one, but it's still fun :)

I've now listened through TLC2! ^^
I think musically, I'd probably listen to Haunted more often, but TLC2 made a fun soundtrack to some Diablo demon-murdering.

It was interesting to hear a different version of Everybody Knows! Cohen definitely varies up the timing and even the melody between different versions.

And Zombie Girl is fun as always -- I'm impressed that you found a song from them that fit the tone of this playlist!

I think that's a live version of Everybody Knows, which seemed to be warmer and more alive to me than some of the versions, that seem to be limited by recording technology.

And, yeah, depending on mood, I will prolly listen to Haunted more than TLC2. The TLCs are kind of an exercise in GI niche genre. It;s fun to find things that fit, within a broad definition, and then to place them together so they kinda flow together and don't jerk back and forth from slow to louder.

I listen to podcasts a lot and will take notes on songs I really like and where they would fit in playlists, TLC, Dreams (Sisters sounding and good Goth), and others.
