So I'm admittedly obsessed with Django Unchained and have been for a while now. I've always held Tarantino in high esteem, but it was the music that sealed the deal for me and Rick Ross in particular. If you can put a rap song in a Western and make it fit, you're a talented person indeed. In the same vein, I like Kanye West's "Black Slaves". It'd ( Read more... )

Hope you get to watching it soon! It's a great movie. Stylistic, intelligent, and visually stunning. And the music. You can always count on Tarantino for an awesome soundtrack.

I quite enjoyed Django Unchained, especially DiCaprio's performance. I thought he stole the movie, hands down.

Skyfall was good, particularly the "angry Bond" because I do love my angsty heroes, but honestly the end of the movie was somewhat disappointing for me. Still a solid film, though.

I had my doubts about both him and Jamie Foxx, but gladly they proved me wrong.

And I did love an angsty Daniel Craig. I'm always up for some manpain! And yeah, the ending was a little less than ideal but I still loved it anyway.

I have yet to see Django Unchained but I want to so badly. I love Leo and Tarantino had me obsessed with Kill Bill as a teen. Skyfall I saw, it was great!

You won't be disappointed, then! Tarantino delivers everything you'd expect from a film he directed in Django. It kinda reminds me of Kill Bill 2 more than anything because of the Western backdrop and the music. They share similar tones.

I love his movies. I saw Kill Bill first, not Pulp Fiction like most people. I was about 15 when I came out so I was just - MIND BLOWN.

Me too! The first movie I saw of his was probably From Dusk Til Dawn when I was very young. It scared me so I didn't watch it until many years later when I found out that indeed it was a Tarantino film. But I'd say that like you I was initiated with Kill Bill. :D I watched all of his older stuff like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs much later.
