At first I thought Shura was suffering from a Quixote syndrome, but then, with the roller coaster of fun that the Sanctuary must be in times of peace, who could blame him? :P
Poor Alde. I can imagine him trying to escape from the dragon while balancing the two on his shoulders. Now see, in this case his decision was a bit inefficient but one has to applaud him for being so direct. A man of action, Alde.

Well, Shura was originally supposed to suffer from said syndrome. He devoted his life to fighting for good and all those jolly shiny things and, besides killing his best friend, there hasn't been that much action.
But then inspiration dissappeared as quickly as it had arrived, neat description of cave as dragon's mouth and similar parafernalia with reasons for poor Shura's airhead abandoned me and puf! you get a no-story end.
I'm still happy with the last image, Aldy is indeed a man of action. I wonder if he'll feed Shura to the dragon :P

Shura with Quixote Syndrome... One has to wonder if he saw pink unicorns in his Temple.
I think I like this version of the story better. Gives it a very abstract-ish sort of feeling. ... And hey, how can I not love the image of Alde running away from the furious dragon? :D
Probably as a last resource, he... would think about it. But I'm sure that at first he'll try to fight back, using Shura and Aiola as human shields. One has to be practical, after all.
