The pillow was discarded on her way past the couch as she bee-lined it into the kitchen. With a grand Vanna White gesture she showed off the candy set out on the counter. "Welcome to a dentist's worst nightmare."

The smile she wore was a little more genuine than the last, and it showed with the way her eyes lit up just the tiniest bit. She was really trying to ignore the looming elephant in the room standing right where Cassie was.
