Diana was fidgeting now; fingers smoothing out the little tassels that hung from the throw pillow she had claimed upon taking a seat on the couch. Over and over again did she straighten out the little strands one by one against her thigh only to tangle them all up together again with a twist of her fingers."I will see the witch hunter thing through ( Read more... )

Everything the past few days had been a whirlwind. She wasn't sure what to make of it. Finding out that Diana couldn't go into the mine... that she was the other... Her sister. She's trying to put that behind her for the moment though. Trying not to let that ruin whatever night they had planned ahead of them. It was meant to be just a movie night. No magic... no mention of the witch hunters...

"Hey," she says moving past the other girl into the house. She wanted to ask how she was holding up but at the same time... didn't want to bring it up.

As Cassie moved inside Diana closed the door behind her, keeping her back to the other girl as she slid the deadbolt into place. Steeling herself she turned around, doing what she did what she did best- burying everything as deep as she could for the time being. Her smile grew wider as she motioned towards the living room. "Come on, I've got a whole bunch of junk food waiting for us."

The pillow was discarded on her way past the couch as she bee-lined it into the kitchen. With a grand Vanna White gesture she showed off the candy set out on the counter. "Welcome to a dentist's worst nightmare."

Something that was fine with Cassie for the time being. Let Diana bury it deep but she couldn't do that forever. Not after finding out what she had. What she believed to be true. Just like she had to find a way to keep the girl from leaving.

Following her into the kitchen she gives a slight chuckle, "I think every dentist in Chance Harbor would hate us."

Diana sighed in agreement, a chuckle caught in her throat as she nodded. "Definitely. But tonight," she looked up as she grabbed the large bar of chocolate, waving it gently in the air, "we don't care. We're going to watch a movie or two and just relax. Matter of fact..." with the treat still in her hand she turned towards the refrigerator and retrieved a bottle of wine. "What do you say?"

The smile she wore was a little more genuine than the last, and it showed with the way her eyes lit up just the tiniest bit. She was really trying to ignore the looming elephant in the room standing right where Cassie was.
