When I went to NYC a few years ago, I had dessert at Jekyll and Hyde and I seriously ate maybe three bites of cake (and dude, I LOVE cake) because I couldn't stop staring at everything! It was so awesome!

Glad you had a good time. Wicked is so amazing.

So glad to see you too! Anytime you and/or your sister want to come up to NYC, you are more than welcome to stay at my place. I have a comfortable futon that 2 people can sleep on.

And the con in England--my initial thought is I can't afford it, but maybe if I don't go to DragonCon I can go to The Hub instead and meet John. BUT... since I've never been to England I would have to take a whole week off to see London and Cardiff and make it a real vacation. Because it would be really pathetic of me to go to a foreign country JUST for a weekend JUST for a con. Not sure if I could afford a flight and a whole week of British hotel costs, but just in case, I think I'll have to make an appointment to get a passport...

Just a thought - I been trying to get back to London for 8 years - spent 20 hours in Heathrow.. that's all I've seen of London. But between the nearly $1000 airfare and the probably $1000 hotel bill, its a daunting prospect. I need a least a year to save ...

Yikes, if it's $1000 for airfare and $1000 for hotel, or even $500 for hotel splitting it with other people, then I definitely can't afford to go... maybe next year...
