Remember that you don't always have to help financially, that being backbone emotional/ spiritual/ and otherwise support is also important. It's not about how much money you can give to help (even if it may be the most helpful thing). There's still so much you can do, and just the thoughts you make of caring and wanting to help in and of themselves create blessings too. So don't fret, m'dear, you have done your best and more than your share -- and do more with keeping that in mind!
I have been rather depressed as of late. It's been so many years of trying to quit opiates that I'm kinda going insane, especially because of all the thievery that happens around here. . .This is not the right environment to be doing this, it's so hard. I'm so tired of being in pain and suffering over this. . .
As much of a wreck I usually am...I assume the role of the backbone. When all is well, I fall apart.
You have so much conflict. You should find and environment more conducive to recovery. Somewhere safe, secure, comfortable. Probably somewhere you can go to be alone. I guess that's the way I can best concentrate on fighting my demons. But it's also important to get out of that space. I have a hard time with that part.
