I just ordered a new refrigerator:

Yup, I just have to look into it. Thing is, it works but it's really loud, the doors don't seal real well, and there are some broken pieces. I don't really think it's in a condition to pass on, as much as I'd like to.

Yeah, I was going to suggest Craigslist or Captial Region FreeCycle (I know the yahoo group if you want to go that route).

Yup, I've used Capital Region FreeCycle before, as well as CR Free Stuff (which apparently spun off from FreeCycle or maybe CR FreeCycle split away and Free Stuff kept their list, I dunno.). In any case, I've given away a bunch of stuff that way. I just don't think my fridge is in good enough condition to pass on.

Unfortunately Home Depot doesn't appear to offer the option of hauling away the old appliance, at least for this particular order. Though I haven't talked to the carrier yet and I'll ask about that. Otherwise I'll probably have to rent a truck or find someone who can help me bring it to the landfill.
