Tomater skin, that's me!

I went with a friend to run an errand today, but we weren't extremely familiar with exactly where the office was so there was a lot of lost wandering around in the sun. If I had realized that would happen, I would have worn sunscreen, but I didn't know. Now I am very sunburned. :D It's not "oh my God I can't wear clothes it hurts so much" at this ( Read more... )

Oh ouch, sunburn sucks so much!

In other news, is there anything better than avocado or guacamole on a hamburger? And monterey jack cheese? Or ranch sauce?

YES YES EVERYTHING! LOL Avocado/guacamole and ranch are two of the food stuffs that horrify me the most, along with mayonnaise. D: D: LOL More for you!

My shower is not going to be fun in the morning. I may have to use lukewarm water so it doesn't hurt so much.

Yes, more for me! Gobble gobble gobble! :D

I know this will sound weird, but apart from doing the usual like using aloe vera to soothe your sunburn, take a non-drowsy anthistamine. Preferably one that is for hives and rashes rather than hayfever, it helps immensely, in fact it helps with any burn.

So your place for burgers? lol

I take an antihistamine every day anyway, although I'm not sure if it is for hives and rashes too? I take loratadine for an itching condition and sinus problems. It helps a great deal with the itching, so perhaps it is one of the antihistamines that helps with hives and rashes. My sunburn is a little itchy right now. I may go get some lotion at the store. :)

My friend and I had lunch at Chili's. I can't remember exactly what the burger was called, but I know it had "avocado" in the name. :D Very very good. I had them leave off the jalapenos though because they're just too hot for me!

Sunburn always is uncomfortable. I do hope you're feeling better very soon. I get burned easily, so I know where you're coming from... I think it'll take at least a couple of days...

I've never tried either of your choices on a hamburger but it does sound good :D

Yeah, and the most comfortable position (usually...) for me to use my laptop is lying on my stomach with a pillow under my chest, which causes me to lean on my forearms a lot. Tonight? Owwwwwwww... not so comfy. I don't have any blisters but damn, my arms are red.

I live on the East Coast but I came from the West Coast and I totally LOVE guacamole on my burgers! Hopefully, with some kind of pepper jack cheese and southwest ranch kinda sauce. :) Hope your sunburn feels better soon. They say to put Aloe on it, or you can spray Solarcain or whatever it's called. We had to make a run for those last summer when my poor son got tomato-fied.

Guacamole on a burger is the BEST. Another friend of mine hates guac so she always gives me hers when we go out for Tex-Mex, mmmmmm.

My sunburn already feels better. It still hurts to scratch my scalp or other burned bits, but it's definitely less painful today.

ME TOO. Whataburger has an Avocado Bacon Burger right now that is SO GOOD. I could eat one every day until my taste buds beg for mercy.
