Awww, I really liked this episode, but I do agree about the over-emo Sam. I did a mini-meta about the possible reasoning for this besides the fact that in the end we learn that he knew she was dead all along (not that it's actually the case, but I love Sam so much that I like to try to justify his actions when they grate on people's nerves, lol).
But oooh, this : I really do love this show, I promise. But sometimes, the more I love something, and the more I see it rule, the more critical I can be of it when it sucks.
YES! That's exactly the way I've been feeling pretty much the entire first half of the season, and then that damn Evil!Sam episode, which I personally HATED whilst everyone else bowed down to the "genius" that is Kripke...). I get so invested in it that I kinda elevate my expectations of it w/o even realizing it, and therefore when we get a crappy or just kinda meh episode, I feel really disappointed. :(
I thought maybe there was some sort of connection between Molly and Jessica that would be revealed, like they had something in common or something of that sort that would make Sam overidentify (and over-emo). But, no. ^_^?
