My effing God, but everybody wants to ride Grey Dawg this Thanksgiving. I am so very glad I do not work at a terminal right now, and instead work in the call center. Today was a lot quieter, but Monday was nuts! They are offering extra hours to make sure we are covering all the calls, and every available computer had a person at it that day. It was

Yes, the reason being that Harvelle's is in Wisconsin. I rewatched a few scenes last night. The killer clown thing happened in Medford, Wisconsin, and Sam looks at the file and says, "That's not too far from here." Medford is a real city, in north central Wisconsin. Like, smack dab in the middle, and a little to the north. Not close enough to any state borders to call question to the state, IMO.

Nebraska is about two states away. So, a little too far for "not that far from here." :)

In case I didn't make that clear enough, Sam is looking at the file Ellen made in Harvelle's when he says that Medford, WI is "not that far from here." Which makes it pretty clear for me that Harvelle's would have to be in Wisconsin too, since Medford is so centrally located. If it was close to the Michigan or Minnesota, etc., border, then there might be some question of the state, but Medford is ping, right there in the (northern) middle. :D

I kept thinking it was Minnesota until I watched the ep again. I hope they haven't contradicted themselves on the state in some other ep, because I'm not in a big hurry to rewatch every Jo scene. :P
