Sometimes cosplay feels like a neverending hunt for the "perfect" thing...or maybe I'm just anal. When I want to avoid making something, I always search out and see if I can buy what I need, like this belt buckle for Crono. Well...Let me think about how to say this....

Though the buckle isn't exactly oval, it does look somewhat close. I say don't stress yourself over being "perfect" all the time.

I think it is close enough to not bother spending time making your own. Btw, let's see some steampunk pictures and do you happen to have any of those sailor references I e-mailed you about a while back?

Ohh, I have a bit of time before I really start working on the Steampunk outfit. I'll try to get to my scanner soon if you really want to see it. :3 Which reminds me... FFFfuuuuuu about the Sailor references! I went to look for them in my stuff and I think Liz has the old pictures. I will shoot her an email; maybe she can take a pic and send them to you? I will find out (sorry to keep you waiting! :C )

I understand your "anality" over things, and normally I concur when something looks off. However, this doesn't look off to me. I think it looks great! It's not a perfect rectangle, but has a good curvature to it lending itself well to the reference art, I think.

Psh--so typically us, to have a bunch of correct colored cotton sitting around from abandoned projects T^T

Yeah, it's like $5 w/o shipping so I'd say that was a good deal. It doesn't bother me TOO much, which is good because I tend to sweat the small stuff. :<
