Even before I actually read the books, when they announced they would be making the movies, I said it was a bad idea. HP got kids reading! I would've like to have left it like that. If they wanted into Harry's world, they needed to read it or have a parent read it to them. Why dumb it down as a movie?
They've been screwing up the movies left and right, but this is too much. I'll watch it (probably), but I'd rather buy a new boxed hardcover set of HP books than buy the movies.
PS - I want to see Harry & Potter Go to White Castle.
