Awwww, thanks! Heh, my profile is a bit out of date - I actually did have a 40 hour a week job for two years (which was every bit as miserable as I expected), and now I'm in grad school, albeit not for Comp Lit (close, but not quite).

The user name has nothing to do with Arabic, actually; I think it is a misspelling of a word from Dune, which my high school boyfriend was obsessed with. I chose it as my very first AOL screenname when I was fourteen and have stuck with it more or less ever since.
