I love it!!!!! They're just so great together, and I love that the Doctor has a hard time surprising River. Not for lack of trying.

"Next time you plan a surprise party, best not leave the 'Happy Birthday!' sign on the front porch."
Why am I so not surprised? Well, because it's the Doctor, I guess!

OH OH OH! I am IN LOVE. The rhythm of BOTH their vocal patterns. The surprise party (where she didn't shoot anything!). "An android made entirely of jammie dodgers." For me, the piece de resistance was, "Is it a cat?" Because Alex Kingston DID that scene IN MY HEAD and it was BRILLIANT and sexy and you have MADE my night (also made me wheeze, which isn't hard when I'm laughing, but the laughing so hard...).
