Yeah, I'm home. Not because I was so excited about LOST I couldn't wait until morning either. ~;p (in fact, still haven't watched....after the majorly boring farce of a show last week, that was so NOT arrogant asshole Richard's backstory dammit! he'd have had to have some balls to start...but I guess it shows some range, or at least two modes, for

Oh and I finally got caught up with LOST. I actually liked Richard's back story episode. It was really the only last few episodes that got me back into the show. I was about to shut it off for good before that.

Oh, Gods, I think this whole season of LOST has taken a majorly suckage nose dive. It's like they never did have any answers and now they don't care. So they're going to bore us with this impossible Chaos theory alternative universe crap. Not that I believe Chaos Theory is impossible...but, see, they're having people who would have been killed on the Island, like Ben and his father, and rumor has it that Miles' father that he mentions IS his father, when it blew. Uh, uh. Also things changed before the Island blew would have stayed change....if Jacob left the Island and changed things they would have stayed changed. So, either these people are morons, which is a good bet, or, as I have been saying, it's all Pam wakes up and finds Bobby in the shower fake ( ... )

I was not at all excited about watching the show this season, because for me, it was the Kate & Jack show, like Dumb & Dumber for intelligent people. So I think the reason I am enjoying this season so much is because many of the episodes have been focused on other characters - and I have only had to watch 2-3 Kate and Jack centered episodes. Although I fear now, we are back to the Kate & Jack show.
So that is why I can enjoy it, because I expected to be tortured by it - not because I was looking for answers, or for them to reveal the grand plan - because I agree, I don't think there is one I am just enjoying each episode as a single entity, not in relation to the larger scheme. LOL! :)

My sister has fibro as well and your pains sound so familiar. It was one of the reasons why she started martial arts years ago; to help her learn how to deal with the pain without drugs and to keep her body in shape. She said that the mental training work well too.
But yeah, the damp and cold for her are major stressors. She lives across the sound from Seattle and often comments to me how much she misses sunlight.

Since getting things under control, I've not noticed a big weather relationship...at least not with "oh, it's going to rain, or it's raining that's why I hurt" sort of thing like others I know. BUT it's unseasonably warm here much of the past few weeks, with some cold dips, and wet...and I think that might mean a mold that probably isn't usually around right now. And mold is a big issue...I imagine that that might be a factor in the Seattle area a lot of the time.

I hope this passes soon for you. I just grit my teeth and swear a lot. I don't have a lot of faith in Western medicine when it comes to this affliction. I have a horror story, someday I will share it.
Healing upon you....
And as for Lost, the title says it all now. It can't seem to find the wonderful story lines of previous seasons, it seems like since it's the last season, they're cramming these shitty stories in our heads, and I got a little annoyed with last week's episode.
I agree, it did show some depth for Richard's character though...
Sigh, I guess we can just hope it get's better?
Anyway, feel better soon!

I think Richard's character could have had so much more depth, and many, many years, more than that. I hate it. This one too. Just am hating this season. Waiting for it be over.
