So, tonight I go out to the barn to feed Saoradh a treat and prepare his next meal as we'd be home late from an assignment. Turn on light, the sound of rustling is heard! I expected the raccoon that has been hanging around or maybe a Pomeranian to jump out at me. Much to my surprise I see a black cat butt high-tailing it out of the barn

At one point we had over a dozen cats, all from drop-offs, or the one drop-off that adopted us, and then she had kittens, LOTS of them. We caught most of them and got them to be calm outdoor cats, but had some wild ones that would tolerate people enough to get food. Just don't try to touch them.
So far the only neighbors we have are the cows in the field around the house, a woodchuck under the far barn (he seems to be quiet now that the fall weather is supposedly starting), the lovely redtailed hawk that hunts the back yard and the field, and lately a group of about 15-20 wild turkeys. At work I saw a nice red fox in the parking lot checking things out.
